Job description

Jack Hilliard Distributing Co. is looking for a Peddle Sales Account Manager for the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Who We Are

We are a world-class beverage distributor for several established and up and coming suppliers that service both grocery and convenience channels. We are in search for individuals with previous sales experience who are self-motivated, goal oriented and possess a "Can Do" attitude.

The Peddle Sales Account Manger drives a box truck loaded with product to sell, deliver and merchandise within all Channels including but not limited to Convenience and Grocery. Position includes direct sales, account management including procuring and driving new business as well as growing existing relationships with retailers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Upsell and service current customer base within a designated route
  • Consistently providing outstanding customer service while managing their product inventory, maximizing sales and reducing out of stocks
  • Foster and develop new account relationships within assigned territory
  • Present product portfolio to new and existing customers
  • Execute distribution and increase market share on all brands within portfolio
  • Sense of urgency to execute time bound daily goals and targets
  • Responsible for route sales activity, including placing orders, closing distribution voids, merchandising multiple points of interruption and meeting customer expectations
  • Operating a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Maintain high levels of communication with customers, supplier support teams and our internal team
  • Insure all equipment including trucks, tablets, printers etc. are clean and in proper working order

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in retail sales industry
  • Self-disciplined and Goal Oriented
  • Strong accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizations skills
  • Valid driver license
  • Maintain a clean driving record due to operating a company vehicle
  • Physically able to frequently transition between walking and sitting throughout work day
  • Regularly lift, push and/or pull between 25 to 100 pounds
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Proficient in operating an iPhone with GPS, email and internal selling applications


  • Base plus Commissions
  • Total Annual Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00

Work Week Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
  • Start 5:00am until route completion
